Chrysler DRBIII & Starmobile
Below are the specifications for the equipment we use on your Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge & Mitsubishi Vehicles. As most of you know your vehicle is a computer constantly reading data from each component in the vehicle through its computer systems. These readings are deciphered and then instruct your vehicle how to operate. (This in very simple terms). Your vehicle, just like a computer has malfunctions. When these malfunctions occur diagnostic equipment such as these must be used to read data manually, test system function, or download new software to make the necessary repairs. With this equipment A-1 is able to make your system repairs in a timely and accurate manner which saves money & time for our customers.
DRB-III:
Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles can all be scanned and re-programmed with the
DRBIII. Model year coverage's are from 2008 and can go back as far
as the mid 80's on all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. Access is to all
systems and all functions. This tool puts you on the "Dealer Equivalent" level!
The DRBIII will not work on CAN protocol vehicles, these newer generation
vehicles require either the StarScan or StarMobile tool to service them at OEM
levels. For these we use the Star Mobile Tool, with updates through 2010!

StarMobile is the LAPTOP based version Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep OEM tool for all Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles that use CAN protocol. The tool includes a small interface device (StarMobile) that wirelessly connects to a laptop. Coverage starts in model year 2004 with the Dodge Durango and continues to expand it's coverage's through 2010 model year when virtually every 2008-2010 is CAN protocol. StarsMobile allows access to all systems and can be used for re-flashing all controllers.
